Dimitri Vassilacos

Dimitri is a senior shipping financier who has credit-assessed, business-developed and managed USD multibillion-large corporate loans’ portfolios over a period of 20 years (1996-2015), for Citibank (where he was Managing Director & Head of Greek Shipping), and National Bank of Greece (as the Managing Director of NBG London, the head of NBG’s shipping finance division, and an advisor to the bank’s CEO). He then went on to co-found Ship Finance Solutions, a financial consulting firm specialising in shipping, that has successfully advised in over USD1bn of transactions. Dimitri is an alum of the National Technical University of Athens(MSc in Mechanical Engineering), HEC Paris (MBA), and The Fletcher School (MALD).
